About the Speaker
Dr. Se Yan is a renowned economist, Professor of Economics at the Guanghua School of Management, and deputy director of IEPR-PKU. With over 20 years of expertise, Dr. Yan’s research in economic history, economic development, and Chinese economy has been widely recognized by international academia. A world-renowned economist, Dr. Yan has shared his expertise at universities around the globe, including Harvard Business School and Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania. He was the first Chinese scholar who was awarded "the Best Dissertation Prize" at the World Economic History Congress and serves as the Associate Editor of the “Australian Economic History Review.
