Professor Jacques Gravereau is Director of the HEC Eurasia Institute,a think tank which he founded in 1989 on the campus of the HEC Paris, together with prominent corporations both from Europe and Pacific Asia.In Europe, he is one of the leading experts on Asia and on Europe-Asia relations. He is Professor at the HEC School of Management, and avisiting professor at Universities in the US and Asia. A regular speaker atmajor conferences worldwide, he regularly lectures for academic and executive training audiences in Europe and Pacific Asia.
Professor Gravereau had a previous business career within multinationals, including operational management of industrial and services companies and board positions. Together with his current assignments, he is a regular consultant to major companies, the European Union and government, notably the French government. |

Professor Gravereau is National Advisor for French Foreign Trade and Chairman of the Committee for North Asia. He is also Chairman of France National Committee of the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council and Head of the French delegation at the Asia Europe Business Forum and member of the Core Group of AEBF. He is board member of several Companies and of European or Asian Institutions of which (in Asia) : Foundation for advanced Economy, Institute of Global Financial Studies, Centre for Strategic and International Studies. |

Professor Gravereau holds a Ph.D. in Economics (Sorbonne University), an MBA (HEC) and is a former fellow of the Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies as well as Knight of the Légion d'honneur. |
