At the information session, Professor Jinliang(Jack)Li,Faculty director of Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA Programme,School of Economics and Management (SEM), Tsinghua University will share with you the distinctive features of the Dual Degree EMBA Programme jointly run by the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University and INSEAD. This will be followed by a lecture by Professor Swee-Huat (S.H.) Lee, Professor of Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA programme (TIEMBA).

Prof. Jinliang(Jack) Li received a Ph.D. in finance and the University Doctoral Prize at Syracuse in 2001. He was awarded a Bachelor degree from Tsinghua SEM in 1997. Jinliang teaches various finance and risk management courses to the Tsinghua-MIT cobranded MBA program, Tsinghua Executive MBA program, and the Tsinghua-INSEAD Executive MBA program. He also lectures to executive programs for leading organizations such as State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. His research focuses on risk management, financial markets and trading strategies. In this area, he has published prolifically in leading journals such as Journal of Business, Journal of Futures Markets, Financial Analysts Journal, Financial Review, and Economics Letters. A CFA designation holder, Jinliang sits on the Standards of Practice Council of CFA Institute and the editorial board of Financial Analysts Journal. He was an associate editor and guest editor of Journal of Entrepreneurial Finance & Business Ventures. Prior to joining Tsinghua, Jinliang was an academic advisor to State Street Bank for one year, where he consulted on fixed-income trading strategies and liquidity risk. He taught at Northeastern University in Boston, where he was named the Joseph G. Reisman Research Professor. He also taught at Syracuse University. His visiting experiences include INSEAD, MIT, Yokohama National University, and Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
Prof. S.H. Lee is Visiting Professor in Leadership, Organization Behavior, and Strategic Human Resource Management in the EMBA programs at Tsinghua University. He had retired from his successful corporate executive career in January 2004 to focus on his interest in executive education. Prof. Lee was the Corporate VP for Human Resources at TSMC (Taiwan Semiconductor) from 1998 through 2003. He has 25 years of international management experience and has good appreciation of the different cultures and management practices in the east and west.
Dual degree:The program will be sanctioned by a dual degree granted on the basis of courses grading and thesis defense.
